Ansel Sigerson’s Bronze DoE Volunteering
Ansel Sigerson started volunteering on the Duncruin Street Hillside project in February and has recently finished his volunteering for his Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award.
During his time with us, he has learnt a great deal of different tasks. He has built a memorial bench for Janet Reid who sadly passed away earlier this year. Has planted about 100 daffodils, planted sweet peas on every lamp post, sewed wild flowers and cut grass. Due to his hard work and dedication, several neighbors has asked him to mow their grass and he now has a nice Saturday morning job.
Well done to Ansel for his hard work. We hope that he will continue volunteering with us and maybe consider joining one of our community teams.
