ASAP is about providing opportunities to develop
Every teenager needs something to do every day after school. As there are 180 school days per year, ideally, every school would offer 180 participant sessions per child per year.
Scotland produced six participant sessions per child in 2010, down from six and a half in 2009.
ASAP can help by providing a range of opportunities and qualifications
These are facilitated through a community shared experience.
A typical activity session block last for five weeks, are led by a community volunteer with friendly competitions arranged after the first few weeks of training.
Our qualifications are endorsed by the Institute of Leadership and Management and ASDAN.
